Besides diving...

Magnificent beauty of the Russian North

Also:
- Aurora borealis, Bird-watching, Skiing and other snow sports, Ice-Snorkeling, Abundant macro-life
- Traditional Russian fishermen village life
- Outings into the snow desert + dinners cooked on log campfire

What will I eat?

- Russian delicacies with special attention to North seafood + lots of meat, sorry, it is a place few vegetarians can survive in
- Special Chinese New Year dinner with vodka and Champaign on the house (shall we help ourselves at the duty free on the way?)
- Abso-bloody-lutely incredible UH’A – Russian fish soup made with vodka

How will I keep warm in –20 C frost?

Russian banya (steam sauna) every evening, Japanese furo and campfire will keep us hot.

Am I at risk of catching bad cold?

A lot less risk than in HK in winter. Russian banya and vodka in therapeutical doses together with rich healthy food and hot drinks have for centuries kept Russians one of the most cold-resistant nations in the world, why should these age-proven remedies fail on you. Bring some hong hua you along for sensitive backs or fragranting the water in the furo, and stay as healthy and strong as the local people. Oh yes, thick woolen winter hats are a must, sure, unless you prefer to buy a polar fox hat locally (might be quite expensive though).
